West Goshen Township, West Chester, Pa., is searching for investment services and related administrative and bookkeeping services for its $23 million defined benefit plans maintained on behalf of the township’s non-uniform employees and police officers.
As of June 30 there’s roughly $6 million in the administration and roads plan, $4 million in the sewer employees’ plan and $13 million in the police plan.
The search is being conducted to comply with state law, said Casey LaLonde, township manager. Vanguard Group currently provides the services and is welcome to rebid.
The RFP is on the township’s website. Proposals are due 4 p.m. EDT on Aug. 25. A selection is expected to be made about 75 days after the deadline, Mr. LaLonde said.
