Paul Quinsee was named global head of equities at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, said spokesman Matthew Chisum.
Effective in the fourth quarter, he will replace Martin Porter, who is retiring.
Mr. Quinsee will oversee a team of more than 400 investment professionals and $430 billion in assets under management. He will split his time between New York and London and report to Chris Willcox, CEO of global investment management.
Mr. Quinsee was managing director and chief investment officer for U.S. equities at JPMAM. Mr. Chisum did not comment on a replacement at press time.
JPMAM had $1.693 trillion in assets under management as of June 30.
