Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, made a direct hedge fund investment of $50 million in GSA QMS Fund, a multiasset fund, said Tim Barbour, spokesman, in an e-mail.
It is the $12.4 billion pension fund's first investment in a fund managed by GSA Capital Partners.
The pension fund's multiasset strategies target allocation is 10%. As of May 31, the actual allocation was 10.7%.
