Brian Murdy joined real estate money manager Berkshire Group as a managing director and head of portfolio management, said John Dobroski, corporate communications manager, in an e-mail.
It is a new position.
Mr. Murdy was a senior vice president, national director of investment sales for Institutional Property Advisors, a division of real estate brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap.
