Episcopal School of Dallas hired Voya Financial as provider of its approximately $40 million 403(b) plan, said Robert A. Buchholz, chief financial officer.
Incumbent provider TIAA-CREF rebid and was finalist. Voya replaced TIAA last month.
An RFP was issued in the fall of 2015 to see what other firms were offering, Mr. Buchholz said. The plan had been with TIAA since its inception more than 30 years ago.
Voya’s fees, investment options and commitment to participant education and consultation played a role in its selection, Mr. Buchholz said.
