Illinois State Board of Investment, Chicago, is searching for an investment officer-private equity.
The officer would assist in overseeing the board's private equity portfolio, which has an actual allocation of 3.8% and a target allocation of 10% of ISBI's total $15.5 billion in defined benefit assets.
Duties include developing and recommending strategic and tactical plans for the private equity portfolio, as well as generating new ideas for diversification, and leading the evaluation and due diligence of all new private equity investments.
Qualifications include at least five years of private equity or other investment experience.
The officer would report to Johara Farhadieh, deputy executive director-investments.
