Jim Leggate was appointed head of U.K. institutional at Russell Investments, a spokeswoman said.
It is a new position. In addition to his new duties, Mr. Leggate will retain his responsibilities as managing director, head of the Middle East. Mr. Leggate manages 29 staff members, and oversees teams responsible for all institutional clients including those involved in fiduciary management and client relationships.
“(Mr. Leggate) has a proven record in business development and in-depth knowledge of institutional investors, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong contact book to our U.K. offering,” said Pascal Duval, CEO Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in a news release. “This will be instrumental in growing our strong presence in the competitive and complex U.K. institutional market.”
