Julia Kochetygova was named senior environmental, social and governance research analyst at Northern Trust Asset Management, spokeswoman Camilla Greene said in an e-mail.
It is a new position. Ms. Kochetygova, who started Tuesday in London, will support the firm as it looks to expand its ESG capabilities. She reports to Mamadou-Abou Sarr, Northern Trust’s global head of ESG investing.
Ms. Kochetygova was previously head of sustainability indexes at S&P Dow Jones Indices. She was replaced by Martina Macpherson, an S&P DJI spokesman said.
As of March 31, Northern Trust Asset Management had $900 billion in assets under management, including $57.9 billion in AUM across a globally diverse set of ESG-screened strategies.
