Man GLG completed the expansion of its new emerging markets debt team with the hire of five investment executives.
Three emerging markets portfolio managers joined Man GLG’s New York office: Lisa Chua, who was a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager, responsible for external markets, at HSBC Global Asset Management; Jose Wynne, formerly a managing director and head of FX research at Barclays Capital Management; and Phil Yuhn , previously a portfolio manager at American Century Investments.
Also, Ehsan Bashi joined as a New York-based portfolio engineer. He was most recently a manager who advised clients on risk management at KPMG Advisory.
And Maria do Carmo Cal is a product specialist based in London. Previously, she was managing director and head of capital markets at Banco Itau BBA International.
Guillermo Osses was named head of emerging markets debt strategies at Man GLG in January with a hiring mandate, spokeswoman Megan Ingersoll said. “I am excited about what we can achieve in this market for our clients,” Mr. Osses said in a Man GLG news release. “Man GLG provides the institutional framework and entrepreneurial environment in which this group of professionals can thrive.”
