DeLand, Fla., hired Graystone Consulting as its first investment consultant for its 401(a) and 457 plans, said a notice on the DemandStar purchasing website.
The city issued an RFP in February for a consultant to perform quarterly performance reviews and searches for replacement funds. The plans, which have combined assets of $12 million, moved to Nationwide Financial as a single record keeper as of June 1. Previously, the record keepers were Nationwide and ICMA-RC.
Christine Oniffrey, city purchasing coordinator, did not return a phone call seeking further information by press time.
