Touchstone Advisors hired LMCG Investments as subadviser to its $53.7 million Touchstone Small Cap Value Fund, said James Doyle, senior vice president, financial, in an e-mail Tuesday.
The hire was effective June 30. LMCG replaced DePrince Race & Zollo, Mr. Doyle said. He said Russell Implementation Services acted as interim subadviser during the transition period from May 21 to June 30.
Touchstone made the change based on the firm’s proprietary manager evaluation process, Mr. Doyle said. He did not go into details.
The lead portfolio manager will be R. Todd Vingers, who is LMCG’s managing director of value equities.
Touchstone has $15 billion in assets under management.
