Scott Davis on Thursday was named chief investment officer of the $29.9 billion Indiana Public Retirement System, Indianapolis, said a news release from the pension fund.
Mr. Davis, who was deputy CIO, had been interim CIO at INPRS since the departure of David Cooper in October to become CIO of the $2.8 billion Purdue Research Foundation, West Lafayette, Ind.
Mr. Davis also was director of public equity at the pension fund.
Also, Bo Ramsey, INPRS director of private equity, will replace Mr. Davis as deputy CIO.
Messrs. Davis and Ramsey will retain their previous responsibilities in public and private equity, respectively, said Jeff Hutson, spokesman.
Korn/Ferry International assisted the pension fund with the search.
