Daniel Hoinacki was named managing director and head of investor relations and marketing at hedge fund manager Tricadia Capital Management this month.
The position is new, said a spokesman.
Mr. Hoinacki was head of client development at hedge fund manager Carlson Capital Management before leaving the firm in June 2015. Kevin Silva assumed Mr. Hoinacki’s role at Carlson Capital in May.
Tricadia manages $3.2 billion and Carlson Capital, $9 billion.
