Florida Department of Financial Services, Tallahassee, is searching for a record keeper for its $41 million 3121 plan, said Pamela A. McLean, department procurement specialist, in an e-mail.
The department issued an RFP because the contract for current record keeper BENCOR is expiring; Ms. McLean said the firm is eligible to rebid.
The 3121 plan is a Social Security alternative plan for temporary, seasonal and part-time employees for the department's “other services” program.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on Aug. 11. A notice of intent to award is scheduled to be posted on Sept. 12.
The RFP is available on a state procurement website.
