Statens Pensjonskasse, Oslo, hired BCA Research to provide the pension fund with financial analysis, including macroeconomics and investment strategy.
A contract award notice filed on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily said the Norwegian public service pension fund, known as SPK and with 499 billion Norwegian kroner ($60.3 billion) of assets, said the analyses will focus on investment strategies and the allocation of assets to various asset classes.
A portfolio manager at SPK said BCA was the pension fund's previous provider of analysis services.
SPK launched a search in January.
