Hank Murphy was named managing director and portfolio manager at Fiduciary Trust Co. International, said spokesman Michael Chiong in an e-mail.
It is a new position; Mr. Murphy started last month.
Mr. Murphy will focus on investment manager research, selection and monitoring, and will report to Wayne Sprague, executive vice president of advisory services at Fiduciary Trust Co.
Previously, Mr. Murphy was a partner and director of investor relations and business development at SLS Capital. An SLS Capital official could not immediately provide information on a replacement.
