The state of Arizona is searching for a third-party administrator for the $1.1 billion Arizona State Deferred Compensation Plan, Phoenix, and other defined contribution plans with $37 million in total assets, said Cathie Rodman, procurement manager.
The current provider is Nationwide Retirement Solutions and the firm is invited to rebid, Ms. Rodman said.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. MST on July 27. A specific timetable for a decision has not yet been set, but Ms. Rodman said Nationwide's current contract is extended until June 20, 2017, so a decision would have to take place before then.
