PineBridge Investments added two senior executives to its Asia institutional business development team, said a spokeswoman in an e-mail.
Maggie Zhao was named managing director, business development, and Leo Li was named vice president, institutional development.
Ms. Zhao, who started earlier this month, leads a four-person Asia institutional business development team, focusing on China, Hong Kong, Macau and the Philippines. She reports to Rajeev Mittal, Asia CEO. Mr. Li, who started last month, reports to Ms. Zhao.
Both additions support the firm's efforts to expand its reach in Asia.
Ms. Zhao and Mr. Li previously worked at Amundi where Ms. Zhao was head of China client coverage and development and Mr. Li was vice president, China business development. An Amundi spokesman could not immediately be reached for information on their replacements.
PineBridge has about $82.5 billion in total assets under management and manages $43.9 billion for clients in Asia.
