Kansas Public Employees Retirement System, Topeka, is searching for an investment consultant for its approximately $640 million 457 plan, said spokeswoman Kristen Basso in an e-mail.
Incumbent consultant Arnerich Massena announced in January it was moving a portion of its retirement plan consulting services to SageView Advisory Group. KPERS temporarily assigned consulting services to SageView, which is invited to rebid.
A search was initially planned for later in 2016 as part of KPERS' normal business process, but has been moved up because of the Arnerich Massena announcement, Ms. Basso previously told Pensions & Investments.
The RFP is available on the retirement system's website.
Proposals are due by 3 p.m. CDT on July 22. A hiring decision is anticipated Sept. 30.
Empower Retirement is the plan's provider.
