Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, returned a net 0.7% for the quarter ended March 31.
The $26 billion pension plan generated $176 million in earnings, net of fees, during the first quarter, said a news release from the plan.
Returns for the quarter were 2.7% for fixed income, 1.8% for alternatives, 0.7% for real assets, 0.3% for cash reserves, 0.2% for global equities and -4.2% for hedge funds.
