Aaron Hill was named director-trust investments at American Electric Power Co., Columbus, Ohio, said Jim Brown Jr., investment specialist, in an e-mail.
Mr. Hill, who previously worked in American Electric Power’s mergers and acquisitions group, took on the title in May, Mr. Brown said. Mr. Hill replaced Steve Kiser, who retired. Mr. Kiser had been AEP’s director-trust investments for 31 years.
Mr. Hill was also named to the company’s investment subcommittee that oversees the money management of AEP’s defined benefit plan and other benefit trust fund assets.
As of Dec. 31, AEP had $4.8 billion in defined benefit plan assets, according to the company’s most recent 10-K filing.
