Houston Municipal Employees Pension System committed $20 million to IC Berkeley Partners IV, said Peter Koops, spokesman for the $2.3 billion pension fund, in an e-mail.
The valued-added real estate fund is managed by Industry Capital .
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund had a 9.9% allocation to real estate, according to Pensions & Investments’ data.
