Trumbull (Conn.) Pension Fund is searching for an investment consultant, said Maria Pires, the town's director of finance and member of the pension board, in an e-mail.
The $26 million pension fund's board approved an RFP because it “felt that it was time to put out a bid” and nothing has “gone out since 2014,” said recently released minutes of the April 26 meeting.
The current consultant is Fiduciary Investment Advisors. Ms. Pires said the firm is invited to rebid. The RFP is available on the town's website. Proposals are due June 21. A decision should be made by the end of August, Ms. Pires said.
