OrthoCare Florida, Pinellas Park, hired Montgomery Retirement Plan Advisors to provide investment consulting and fiduciary compliance services for its $36 million 401(k) plan, said Donald Haight, CEO, in an e-mail.
Premier Independent Advisors was also hired to provide participant education services. Montgomery Retirement Plan Advisors and Premier Independent Advisors are both affiliates of Independent Financial Partners.
An RFP was issued in September. The incumbent, which could not provide the services the plan required, was not invited to rebid, Mr. Haight said. He declined to name the firm.
The search was conducted using InHub’s eRFP tool.
