Kevin Byrne and James Toland were named senior vice presidents at Loop Capital Markets, where both will work on the firm's $10 billion transition management business.
The positions are new, and Messrs. Byrne and Toland will work with pension funds and investment consultants, said Kourtney Ratliff, Loop Capital partner, head of global equity and transition management.
Mr. Byrne was vice president at Fidelity Capital Markets; he left the firm last June. He was replaced by Heather Schreider, who had been vice president of business development.
Mr. Toland was managing director and head of consultant relations, portfolio solutions, at State Street Global Markets. He was replaced by Peter Weiner, a senior managing director, under the title of and head of transition management Americas, head of global sales, said Julie Kane, State Street spokeswoman.
