Justin Ferrier was named managing director of BlackRock’s Asian private credit platform, confirmed spokesman Ed Sweeney.
Effective June 13, Mr. Ferrier will assume portfolio management responsibilities of private credit investments, with a focus on midmarket and special situations in Asia. He will be based in Singapore and report to Neeraj Seth, head of Asian credit.

Mr. Ferrier was previously the founder and CEO of Myo Capital. It could not be learned by press time if he was replaced.
