Yuichi Alex Takayama joined Nikko Asset Management as global head of sales for the Tokyo-based firm's international business, as well as head of Nikko's international business development and sales planning division, Nikko announced Monday.
Mr. Takayama replaces Takuya Koyama. A Nikko spokesman said Mr. Koyama “recently retired from the company.” Mr. Koyama couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Mr. Takayama was head of international sales and marketing at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co. Tokio Marine spokesman Yuji Ieki, in an e-mail, said executive officer Yukio Moriya has taken on the role of head of the firm's international sales and marketing department as well.
