Anthony M. Ranaldi, executive vice president and portfolio manager at DDJ Capital Management, will reduce his responsibilities at the firm, said Jack O'Connor, DDJ's head of business development and client service.
Mr. Ranaldi is resigning from his position as portfolio manager of opportunistic high-yield and total return credit strategies in order to spend more time with his family. He will serve as an adviser to the firm's investment review committee to ensure a smooth transition. He will also remain an equity holder of the firm.
Effective immediately, David J. Breazzano, DDJ's co-founder, president and chief investment officer, will assume Mr. Ranaldi's portfolio management responsibilities. He will work closely with portfolio manager John Sherman and assistant portfolio manager Ben Santonelli, who will each assume additional assistant portfolio manager responsibilities.
DDJ Capital had about $7.5 billion in assets under management as of April 30.
