Schroder Investment Management will lift out Brookfield Investment Management’s securitized products investment management team with more than $4 billion in assets under management, said Schroders spokeswoman Catherine Wooters.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The team is expected to start at Schroders in the third quarter.
The team is led by Michelle L. Russell-Dowe, managing director and head of securitized products investments at Brookfield, and will be combined with Schroders’ existing New York-based asset-backed securities team. The combined team will oversee more than $8 billion.
Schroder Investment Management has $466.9 billion in assets under management.
