Joe Moody, head of international solutions specialists at Allianz Global Investors, left the firm, said a spokesman.
The spokesman said Mr. Moody will not be directly replaced. “Following an evolution in the setup of our global solutions business earlier this year, our European pensions teams and international solutions specialists based in Europe now report (to) Irshaad Ahmad as head of institutional business” for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. U.S. solutions specialists now report to Doug Eu, CEO for the U.S.
Mr. Moody joined the firm in the new role, covering the U.S., U.K., continental Europe ex-Germany and Japan, in August 2014. He was responsible for delivering the firm’s risk and pension management services to clients, and for driving the international expansion of the solutions business. He left to pursue new opportunities. Further details could not be learned by press time.
AllianzGI has about €50 billion ($57.2 billion) of assets under advice in its global solutions business.
