Roderick Munsters joined Edmond de Rothschild Group as global CEO of asset management.
Mr. Munsters replaced Laurent Tignard, effective Tuesday. Mr. Tignard has left the firm to pursue new opportunities.
“(Mr. Munsters) will bring a wealth of experience, strong knowledge of international financial markets, entrepreneurial spirit and recognized ability to generate long-term performance,” said Ariane de Rothschild, chairwoman of the executive committee, in a news release. “He has successfully run and grown large-size asset managers, empowering professionals in varying countries and with diverse backgrounds, with a strong focus on clients and portfolio performance.”
Mr. Munsters has also joined the group executive committee. The firm has 85 billion Swiss francs ($88.6 billion) of assets under management.
Mr. Munsters was previously CEO and member of the management board of Robeco Group. David Steyn was named as his replacement in September.
