North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System, Bismarck, hired Gabriel Roeder Smith to provide actuarial and plan consulting services, said Bryan Reinhardt, research and planning manager, in an e-mail.
An RFP was issued in November due to a requirement that services periodically go out for bid. Incumbent provider Segal Consulting rebid.
The retirement system administers defined benefit, defined contribution and health plans, among other programs. Defined benefit and defined contribution assets total roughly $2.5 billion.
