Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund, Maidenhead, England, invested an additional £85 million ($124 million) each in Kames Capital and RWC Partners' global equity dividend growth strategies, said Nick Greenwood, pension fund manager.
The £1.7 billion pension fund's allocation to Kames' strategy is now £200 million and RWC Partners, £185 million, Mr. Greenwood said.
The increased allocations were funded by redeeming a roughly £170 million allocation to IPM RAFI Enhanced Index Fund, which has been on watch by the pension fund for “a considerable period of time,” for performance, said pension fund documents. The pension fund first invested in the Informed Portfolio Management strategy in 2008.
Spokesmen for IPM couldn't be reached for comment by press time.
