Florian de Chaisemartin was appointed a director in Aviva Investors’ London-based infrastructure debt team.
Mr. Chaisemartin’s appointment brings the team, which originates, structures and manages infrastructure debt investments, to 17 staff. The firm has about £3.5 billion ($5.1 billion) of infrastructure debt under management, and focuses on financing infrastructure assets in Europe.
Whether Mr. Chaisemartin’s position is new could not be learned by press time.
“We continue to expand our footprint across the infrastructure debt spectrum, with a number of major projects currently underway,” said Laurence Monnier, head of infrastructure debt, in a news release.
Mr. Chaisemartin was previously senior investment manager at Legal & General Investment Management, said the release. He originated, structured, and executed infrastructure debt transactions.
