Scranton, Pa., is searching for a pension fund manager and trustee for its three city pension funds, which have a combined $52 million in assets.
The search is being conducted because the police, fire and civilian worker pension funds’ contract with its current fund manager and trustee, Bank of New York Mellon, is set to expire June 30, said David Bulzoni, the city business administrator. BNY Mellon is invited to rebid.
The RFP can be obtained by e-mailing Julie Reed, purchasing clerk for the city of Scranton, at [email protected]. Proposals are due 10 a.m. EDT on May 20. A selection is expected to be made by the end of June.
