Oregon Investment Council, Tigard, which runs the $65 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, Salem, launched an RFP for a private equity consultant, spokesman James Sinks said in an e-mail.
The council is conducting the private consultant search because the contract of incumbent TorreyCove Capital Partners is set to expire at the end of the year. TorreyCove has been invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the Oregon Treasury's website. Responses are due by 4 p.m. PDT on June 15. The council could make a selection as early as Sept. 14.
