Mark Brubaker was named head of Wilshire Consulting’s outsourced CIO business, effective immediately, said Andrew Junkin, president of Wilshire Consulting, in an e-mail.
Mr. Brubaker had already been contributing to the full discretionary advisory business as a managing director for parent company Wilshire Associates. The new appointment formalizes his role and responsibilities.
“Mark has been instrumental in building our team, structure and procedures critical for effectively executing numerous aspects of managing an outsourced CIO practice,” said Mr. Junkin in a news release. “This is an important part of our business and Mark’s unique skills, exceptional experience and demonstrated leadership have us poised for continued growth.”
Mr. Brubaker is also a member of Wilshire Consulting’s investment committee and manager research oversight committee. He reports to Mr. Junkin.
As of Dec. 31, Wilshire Consulting, the institutional advisory and outsourced CIO business unit of Wilshire Associates, had more than $986 billion in assets under advisement and more than $7 billion in discretionary assets under management.
