Jeff Eng was named managing director of custom defined contribution solutions at AllianceBernstein, said spokesman Jonathan Freedman
It is a new position.
Mr. Eng will primarily lead the company’s lifetime income strategy product, as well as its existing custom target-date offerings. In a previous stint with AllianceBernstein as a product director in defined contribution that began in 2001, Mr. Eng was involved in the development of the lifetime income strategy product, a multi-insurer target-date fund. He was most recently director of retirement income solutions at Russell Investments. His responsibilities were taken on by Nathan Dudley, who was named director for Russell’s newly combined institutional and intermediary defined contribution team, said Russell spokeswoman Kate Stouffer Bauman in an e-mail.
