Case Fell was promoted to chief investment officer of the New York State Nurses Association Pension Plan and Benefits Fund, Albany, said Ronald Lamy, CEO of the fund.
Mr. Fell was promoted from his job as director of research, Mr. Lamy wrote in an e-mail. “That position remains open while we evaluate the future staffing structure for the investments department,” he wrote. The multiemployer fund had $3 billion in pension fund assets as of Dec. 31, 2014. Mr. Lamy didn’t provide updated information.
Mr. Fell replaced Russell Niemie, who left March 31. Mr. Lamy didn’t provide any information about Mr. Niemie’s departure or his current employment.
