Morehead (Ky.) State University Foundation is searching for a firm to provide investment management services, said Sharon Fraley, director of finance for the foundation, in an e-mail.
The selected firm will “have custody of (the foundation’s) investments and invest and steward” according to its investment and financial management policy, Ms. Fraley wrote.
The search is being conducted as due diligence measure. The incumbent provider, which has served the foundation for close to seven years, is invited to rebid, Ms. Fraley said. She did not disclose the name the incumbent firm.
Interested firms can e-mail Ms. Fraley at [email protected] for a copy of the RFP.
Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. EDT on May 13. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for the week of June 13-17, with a hiring decision anticipated by June 30.
The roughly $41 million foundation has an asset allocation of 37% equities, 34% alternatives and 29% fixed income.
