Orange County Employees Retirement System, Santa Ana, Calif., is searching for a consulting actuary, said Robert Kinsler, spokesman for the $12 billion pension plan, in an e-mail.
Incumbent Segal Consulting will be invited to rebid. The selected firm will be hired for a three-year contract with up to three one-year extensions.
Proposals are due June 17. OCERS officials expect the board will interview finalists on July 8 and make a selection on July 18. The RFP is available on OCERS’ website.
Separately, OCERS officials plan to launch a search for custodian services. The incumbent is State Street, which will be invited to rebid. The RFP is expected to be posted on OCERS’ website on April 22. Responses are expected to be due May 6, with a selection as early as Aug. 15.
