Alan Purser joined real estate manager Stockbridge Capital Group on Monday as a managing director, leading the firm's client relations team, spokeswoman Jennifer Brinson said in an e-mail.
It is a new position. Mr. Purser will be responsible for fundraising and new business development for the firm's core and value business lines. The work had previously been done by the firm's partners.
Mr. Purser was head of global consultant relations at real estate firm Heitman. Heitman executives declined to comment on whether they found a replacement for Mr. Purser, said Margot Olcay, Heitman spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
