Columbia (Mo.) Public Schools is searching for a single record keeper for its 403(b) and 457 plans, said Barbara Hofstetter, retirement analyst at consultant CBIZ Cottonwood, which is assisting with the search.
The school system issued an RFP for a single record keeper for the plans as “part of their ongoing oversight of the plans,” Ms. Hofstetter said in an e-mail. The current record keepers are Edward Jones for the 457 plan, LaBrunerie Financial for the 403(b) plan and CUNA Mutual Group for both plans. All current providers are invited to rebid. The plans have combined assets of $12 million.
Copies of the RFP can be requested by e-mailing Ms. Hofstetter at [email protected]. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on May 6. A final selection is scheduled for June 10.
