Kristin Agatone was named chief investment officer at Lehigh University, a news release said.
She replaced Peter M. Gilbert, who retired last year. Starting May 31, Ms. Agatone will be in charge of overseeing management of the Bethlehem, Pa.-based university's $1.2 billion endowment.
Ms. Agatone was a managing director at Summit Rock Advisors. A spokeswoman for the firm did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
