Kathryn J. Crecelius, chief investment officer at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, is retiring, spokesman Dennis O’Shea said Thursday.
Ms. Crecelius, who also serves as vice president for investments, joined in 2005, when the position was created. She will retire June 30, the end of the fiscal year for the $3.4 billion endowment.
Mr. O’Shea said in an interview that the university will work with a national search firm to find her replacement, but no further decisions have been made.
