Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, committed up to $132 million to five private investments, showed a transaction report provided by investment officials of the $24.1 billion pension fund.
The largest commitment was $50 million to ERS Private Real Estate Emerging Manager II, a separate account managed by Oak Street Real Estate Capital.
Also in real estate, the pension fund committed up to $60 million to Aviva Investors Real Estate Capital Global Co-Investment Fund. The fund will invest with emerging real estate managers focused on opportunistic real estate properties in the U.S., according to the report.
Up to $10 million was committed to private infrastructure investing in the U.S. via Shiprock San Juan Co-Investors I fund, managed by I Squared Capital.
Two commitments were made to private equity buyout co-investment funds: $7 million was slated for Riverside Europe Fund V Co-Investment II, managed by Riverside Co., for European-focused investment, and Blue Wolf Capital Partners received a $5 million allocation for its BW NHCC Co-Invest fund for North American opportunities.
