Investment consulting firm The Bogdahn Group is acquiring Thistle Asset Consulting, an investment consulting firm based in Boynton Beach, Fla., effective April 1, said Mike Welker, president and CEO of The Bogdahn Group.
Terms are not being disclosed. As of April 1, the Thistle Asset Consulting name will be eliminated and the firm will become part of The Bogdahn Group.
Thistle Asset Consulting senior consultant John McCann and consultant Brendon M. Vavrica will retain their titles and work remotely while Thistle’s internal support will move to The Bogdahn Group’s home office in Orlando, Fla., Mr. Welker said in an e-mail.
As of Dec. 31, The Bogdahn Group had $56 billion in assets under advisement, and Thistle Asset Consulting had $4 billion in assets under advisement.
