Coral Gables, Fla., is searching for a single record keeper for its 457 and 401(a) plans, said an RFP e-mailed by Vanessa Flores, city procurement specialist.
The city launched the search “to contract with a single provider ... in order to take advantage of economies of scale,” the RFP said. The current record keepers are ICMA-RC, Nationwide Retirement Solutions and Voya Retirement Services. They are invited to rebid.
The plans have a combined $63 million in assets.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on April 13. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
The public notice of the RFP is available on the city’s website. RFPs can be requested by e-mailing [email protected].
