Jonathan Goll joined BMO Global Asset Management (Asia Pacific) in Sydney as director of institutional business for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
The position is new, said a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman.
He will report to Ravi Sriskandarajah, Hong Kong-based managing director and head of BMO Global Asset Management (Asia Pacific).
Mr. Goll joins BMO Global after an 11-year stint with Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo, most recently as a senior client relationship manager in the Boston-based firm’s office in Berkeley, Calif., after a decade as a director in GMO’s Singapore office.
A spokesman for GMO couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
