Allegheny County Employees’ Retirement System, Pittsburgh, committed a total of $5 million to two private equity funds, said board meeting minutes from the $817 million pension plan.
The county’s retirement board approved a $3 million commitment to Constitution Capital Partners’ Ironsides IV, a fund of funds.
The board also committed $2 million to Greenspring Secondaries Fund II, managed by Greenspring Associates.
Investment consultant Asset Strategy Consultants recommended the commitments.
